After inspecting the vehicle, officers found a large quantity of avocados in the trunk that they suspected had been stolen. They also identified a suspect near the vehicle and detained him.

Israeli citizens are strictly prohibited from entering Area A; police emphasized in their statement following the event that entering Area A is "extremely dangerous and can be life-threatening."

Such operations are not uncommon in Israel, with security forces confiscating inciting materials at the UAWC's Ramallah and Hebron offices in December.

According to the police, the suspect is thought to have vandalized the cafe with graffiti, thrown garbage at it, and damaged the cafe's lock.

Police added that the investigation revealed that Gergawi had been in contact with ISIS activists and consumed related terror content, as well as planning to join the organization in Syria.

The arrests follow those of two other suspects on Monday night on the same suspicion. All four suspects had previously been questioned at the Petah Tikva police station on suspicion of involvement.

MK Gilad Kariv called those responsible “incited hooligans” and accused the Israeli government of contributing to hostility toward Reform and other liberal Jewish denominations. 

Paramedics found the children suffering from stab wounds in the pool after emergency services received a report of the incident.

Observers from the Border Police patrol unit first noticed the group digging a tunnel near the fence and alerted officers in the field, who then went to the scene. 

According to the police, they were called on Sunday morning and informed of the incident. Police arrived at the scene to investigate and found that the church had been vandalized.
