Rocket sirens sounded in Beersheba and across Tel Aviv and central Israel late on Monday night amid another ballistic missile barrage from Iran, the IDF confirmed.
Reports indicate that 10-20 missiles were launched as part of the attack. Following the sirens, authorities reported that one missile fell in an open area in the southern region of the country.
An unverified report mentions a civilian witnessing a fire in an open area in the Negev, possibly caused by a missile impact. The individual suggested that the fire was the result of an item falling, but this information remains unconfirmed.
No casualties or serious injuries reported
The Magen David Adom (MDA) 101 hotline has not received any further reports of missile impacts or casualties across the rest of the country. The only incidents reported were a few individuals sustaining injuries while heading to protected areas.
According to MDA, despite the alarms heard across the center and south of the country, there have been no calls regarding missile falls or injuries, aside from the aforementioned incidents. Authorities will provide updates if necessary.
The IDF announced that after a situational assessment, the Home Front Command published that it is now allowed to leave protected spaces in all areas across the country. The public is urged to continue following the Home Front Command's instructions.
This is a developing story.
