Border police and IDF soldiers arrested two suspected terrorists in Kalkilya in an undercover operation, the police said Saturday.
The operation was designed to arrest several wanted persons at two locations simultaneously. The Israeli forces used Shin Bet intelligence to guide the operation.
The troops entered the area covertly in the early hours of that morning. They then surrounded the buildings where the wanted suspects were located.
Weapons thrown from nearby building
At one of the locations, several weapons were thrown from a nearby building at the forces.
The three individuals connected to throwing these weapons were also arrested.
Israeli forces seized an M16 rifle, a carrying bag, a ceramic vest, armor plates, magazines, and a large quantity of ammunition from the suspects.
