The IDF identified and killed a terrorist on Friday who was carrying suspicious objects and was approaching the Israeli troops' location in northern Gaza, the military said.

One other terrorist identified by the IDF accompanied him as the two approached Israeli forces, the military added.

The other terrorist survived the strike, which was carried out by the Israel Air Force.

Previous action against Gaza terror activity this week

Earlier, on Thursday evening, the IDF's 7th Brigade opened fire on a terrorist who crossed the Yellow Line.

"A hit was identified," the military added, though it remains unclear if the terrorist was killed or not.

Also on Thursday in the Gaza Strip, the IDF announced that it had killed Muhammad Jawad Muhammad al-Bawab, commander of Hamas’ Eastern Rafah Battalion, who was involved in the October 7 Massacre.
