IDF troops located rockets prepared for launch toward Israel during operations in the Gaza Strip, the IDF stated on Wednesday.
In northern Gaza, east of the Yellow Line, soldiers discovered a rocket launcher loaded with a rocket, the military said.
In southern Gaza, troops found a multi-barrel rocket launcher and a rocket positioned nearby. Both were dismantled, the IDF said.
The military added that its forces in the Southern Command “remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.”
IDF: Six armed terrorists killed in Rafah
Additionally, on Tuesday, six armed terrorists were killed in western Rafah during an exchange of fire, the IDF said on Wednesday.
The IDF stated that the individuals were identified in the area, and searches confirmed they were eliminated during the firefight.
Weapons were found on the terrorists.
In the statement, the IDF said it “strongly condemns any violation of the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate against any attempt by terrorist organizations to execute terror attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel.”
