Two IDF soldiers were wounded after Hezbollah rockets were launched at their post in southern Lebanon on Sunday, the military announced.

One was lightly wounded, and the other was moderately wounded, during activity at the Ali Taher Ridge, per the IDF.

They received medical treatment in the field and then were evacuated to receive further treatment in an Israeli hospital.

Both soldiers serve in the IDF's 7th Armored Brigade's 77th Battalion, which operates as part of the IDF's 36th Division.

The 36th Division has continued to push north into Lebanon, with reports saying they have neared the Lebanese city of Nabatieh, according to KAN.

The military said that Nabatieh is a vital Hezbollah stronghold, and the IDF must reach the city to further operational goals against the terror organization.

KAN reported on Saturday that Israel is preparing for the possibility of stopping ground operations in Lebanon pending a US-Iran ceasefire agreement.

Strikes in southern Lebanon have been continuous, and Ynet reports that some Israeli officials are saying that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may not be prepared to finish operating in Lebanon despite the likely ceasefire signature.
