IDF soldiers operating in the security buffer in southern Lebanon located a dead body tied to a stretcher on Thursday.
The body was found near Rab El Thalathine, Israeli media reported.
N12 News reported that the body had been found adjacent to a minefield.
The body was passed to the police for further investigation.

A similar incident occured in the Gaza Strip on July 2, when Palestinian media reported that IDF soldiers filmed and circulated a video of a blindfolded Palestinian man in the Gaza Strip tied to a broomstick with zip ties.
The man in the video also appears to be stripped to his underwear and further tied to a folding metal cot.
Though it initially said it was unfamiliar with the details of the video, the IDF later said it had investigated the incident and confirmed its legitimacy.
"Following a thorough investigation, the incident in question has been identified,” the IDF said in a statement. “A command-level inquiry is being conducted, and those involved will be dealt with in accordance with its findings."
