The pizza delivered from Piazza Rustico was excellent and the service impeccable

Living in the city we often opt for a home delivery when we are too tired to cook ourselves or go out. But although the choice is vast, the deliveries often are very disappointing. But pizza is usually a good choice, if it arrives quickly and the tray managed to stay upright during the ride, and one of our favorite pizzas in Tel Aviv is the ones prepared in Rustico. So imagine how pleased we were to learn that Rustico Piazza now do deliveries in central Tel Aviv, via the new application service called Volt.Fashioned after authentic Italian pizza places, Piazza Rustico in Sarona Tel Aviv serves one of the city’s better pizzas, as well as other popular Italian dishes such as pastas, meat and fish dishes, antipasti and salads. Their pizza is made with extra crusty texture and baked in rectangular trays – very similar to what you get if you buy pizza in Italy.For our home delivery we chose 2 small trays, recommended for 1-2 people. It was more than enough for 3 hungry people with leftovers for the next day.After much deliberation over Rusticoi’s new pizza menu, we decided to order one Vegan pizza which was excellent, made with quality vegan cheese and mushroom. This pizza is usually served with lots of parsley – but we asked to replace it with basil, because one of the diners doesn’t like parsley – it was wonderful. The other small tray contained 2 slices – one called Pizza Americano is made with Kashkaval cheese, small potato cubes and goose pastrami – sounds strange? It was excellent. The other square Pizza Melanzane , had this slices of eggplant, tomato sauce, Kalamata olives, anchovy, tomatoes and mozzarella – my favorite.Volt allows you to see where your delivery is on the map at every moment and the delivery was prompt the guy was very polite and the pizza came on time - meaning less than 30 minutes.
