17-year-old jailed for killing 11-year-old brother

The Jerusalem District Court on Monday sentenced a 17-year-old boy to eight years in prison, after he was convicted of killing his 11-year-old brother with a weight and then throwing him from an eighth floor window.
During the sentencing, the judge said that the youth had not intended to kill his brother, and that since he expressed remorse for his actions there was a need for a relatively light sentence in order to help his family recuperate from the tragic incident.
