2 arrested at Gaza protest outside Ministry of Defense
By ABE SELIG
Approximately 200 people held a vigil outside the Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv on Tuesday evening, protesting the recent flare-up of violence in the Gaza Strip and what they called the "occupation, suffocation, and liquidation" of the Palestinian people.
Police arrested two protesters for disturbing the peace, but the vigil, which lasted for over an hour, was otherwise peaceful.
The Coalition Against the Gaza Siege, which organized the vigil, decried the November 4th IDF operation in Gaza, which left six terrorist dead and called upon the government to "halt the collective punishment of the residents of the Gaza Strip."
