25% drop in number of Israelis who hang flags

The number of Israelis who hung flags on their homes or cars to celebrate Independence Day has dropped by 25 percent in 2007 according to a poll conducted by "There is Hope," a non-profit organization. The poll, published by the Panorama Marketing Institute, found that only 10% of Israelis hung a flag prior to the holiday, but a large majority said that they planned to hang a flag during Independence Day. At least 500 Israelis aged 18 and over were interviewed.
