28 injured in bus wreck near Kiryat Shmona

Twenty-eight individuals were injured Wednesday evening when a private passenger bus and a cargo vehicle collided in the upper Galilee, Army Radio reported. According to the report, one person was critically injured, and 2 others were moderately injured in the wreck at the Goma junction near Kiryat Shmona were transportated to a hospital in Safed. Another 25 individuals that were lightly injured were treated on the scene by Magen David Adom medics. Police said it appeared that one of the vehicles had entered into the intersection on a red light. The junction was closed as police continued their investigation into the circumstances leading up to the crash.
