Aviv and Francois Aboutbul indicted in Netanya District Court

An indictment against brothers Francois and Aviv Aboutbul was served in the Netanya Magistrate Court on Wednesday. The Aboutbuls and four other men were accused of conspiring to commit a crime. Aviv Aboutbul is also accused of possessing an unlicensed firearm. At the time of their arrest, police said the six were being held over a conspiracy to attack one of their adversaries, but the indictment on Wednesday accused them only of illegally possessing a weapon. Allegedly, 24-year-old Francois called his brother, Aviv, 23, and instructed him to transfer the weapon to another man, 18 years old, who is also indicted. Francois allegedly handled the purchase from prison where he is being held on previous allegations of murder. A loaded gun and silencer were found in the apartment of Aviv Aboutbul during a raid by Police's unit for international crime two weeks ago. The three other defendants are Avi Nahshonov, 29, Avi Orman, 26 and Oleg Kobalyov, 23.
