The dead body of 24-year-old Valentina Domvayev from Lod was found near Ad Halom Junction, near Ashdod on Wednesday morning.
Police suspected that Domvayev was murdered by her Arab husband who kidnapped her on Friday.
The husband admitted to having kidnapped Domvayev, but initally claimed that he had not harmed her and that she had succeeded in escaping from the vehicle in which he was holding her.
