Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter on Friday ordered the establishment of an external commission headed by a retired police commander to examine the circumstances surrounding the escape of serial rapist Benny Sela.
Dichter overruled the earlier decision made by Israel Police Chief Insp.-Gen. Moshe Karadi to appoint a special police commission headed by
Assistant Commander Amos Bar, head of the Patrol Division in the Police National Command.
