Eldad Regev was 26 when he was killed by Hizbullah. He had four older brothers - Benni, 37, Ofer, 36, and Eyal, 32.
The son of Tova and Tzvi Regev, Eldad grew up in Kiryat Motzkin near Haifa. His mother died 10 years ago, and the family marked the anniversary of her passing on Wednesday. Tzvi has remarried and lives in Haifa.
Eldad traveled to Thailand after completing three years in the Givati Brigade, and then enrolled in Bar-Ilan University's pre-law preparatory course, planning to attend law school.
