Some 200 Haredi men and youth stoned an event hall in Jerusalem's Mea She'arim neighborhood, where Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski and his deputy were attending a private function.
Police arrived and escorted the mayor from the scene of the melee, the latest in a series of protests against the Gay Pride Parade scheduled to be held in Jerusalem on Friday.
