One person died and four others were wounded Friday night in three separate incidences of stabbing.
In Tel Aviv, a 17-year-old boy was stabbed outside a nightclub and seriously wounded. The victim was evacuated to Ichilov Hospital.
One youth was moderately wounded and two lightly wounded after they sustained knife wounds during a street fight in Netanya. The three refused to give details on the altercation to police, Israel Radio reported.
A Rishon Lezion man died of a stab wound that his wife alleged was self-inflicted. According to Army Radio, the victim's wife told police that after she and her husband fought, he stabbed himself.
The husband was evacuated to the hospital in serious condition and later succumbed to his wounds.
Police were investigating the woman's story.
