Former MK Senetta Yoseftal passed away Thursday at the age of 95. She will be laid to
rest on Friday in Kibbutz Gal-Ed, which she helped found in 1945 and where she resided
until the time of her death.
Yoseftal was born in Berlin, Germany and immigrated to Mandate Palestine in 1938. She served in the third Knesset under the Mapai Party, and in the eighth Knesset as a member of the Alignment. She was known for her lobbying efforts on behalf of the kibbutz movement.
