An IDF unit operating in northern Gaza, near the area of the former settlement of Dugit, identified and shot two armed Palestinians Tuesday morning.
It was not clear to what extent the gunmen were wounded.
Only a few hours earlier the IDF had announced the end of its weeklong offensive in Gaza.
