A 20-year-old youth was due to be remanded on Saturday evening on suspicion that he allegedly raped a 17-year-old girl at Shanti Beach Friday night.
The girl arrived at the Ma'aleh Adumim police station on Saturday and informed the police that she had gone to camp out at the Dead Sea on Friday with two friends. During the night, the girl claimed, the suspect - one of her companions - had raped her.
