Hadassah University Medical Center spokeswoman Yael Bossem-Levy said Thursday that the claim by Channel 2 reporter Haim Rivlin that prime minister Ariel Sharon's doctors had said they made a mistake when prescribing an anticlotting was "baseless and dreamed up."
Haddasah said Bossem-Levy - who was present when Hadassah cardiology chief Prof. Chaim Lotan and senior neurologist Prof. Tamir Ben-Hur were interviewed by Rivlin - had tapes of all the interviews given by Hadassah physicians regarding Sharon's treatment. The tapes, she said, proved that Rivlin's allegation was untrue.
Rivlin said two physicians admitted that giving Sharon the anticoagulant, Clexane, after his first smaller stroke was an "error."
