Ha'emek Hospital in Afula reduces services

After continual rocket attacks in the area, Afula's Ha'emek's Medical Center has evacuated its upper wards and moved patients to safer locations in the hospital. In addition, elective surgery has been postponed until further notice, and only emergency surgery, treatments and coronary catheterizations will be performed there. Dialysis, oncology and hematology institutes will function normally, said the hospital spokeswoman, who said the Home Front Command issued orders to make these changes. The hospital also asked the public to minimize visits to patients so as to reduce the number of people in one place.
