Girl shot as troops fire at Palestinians hurling rocks at IDF in West Bank.

OC Central Command Maj. -Gen. Yair Neve ordered the suspension on Wednesday of a platoon commander and a soldier from the Nahshon Battalion who participated in the killing of a 13-year-old girl near the West Bank security fence in the Tulkarm area.
The girl, Dah Abed Al-Kadar, was killed after troops opened fire at a group of Palestinians hurling rocks at an IDF force next to a section of the fence.
An initial investigation conducted by the IDF concluded that the force identified a suspicious movement close to the security fence, approached the area, discovered a person dressed in dark clothing and fired warning shots into the air.
Al-Kadar, reacting to the shots, lifted her head. A soldier opened fire towards the girl, seriously wounding her.
Al-Kadar was evacuated for medical treatment in Israel but died of her wounds.
Al-Kadar had approached the security fence with her friend, Rasha Shalvi, who was also seriously wounded in the shooting.
