Israel allows Palestinian Authority to import 50 APCs from Russia

The Palestinian Authority on Thursday said Israel has approved its request to import 50 armored personnel carriers (APCs) from Russia, Army Radio reported.
The approval was given after the Palestinians backed down from their demand to mount automatic rifles on the vehicles, the PA said.
