The Israel Beiteinu faction on Sunday attacked Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's "disrespect" toward Holocaust survivors from what it called "the other circle" - those who were not placed in concentration camps, but managed to flee.
"It's forbidden to distinguish between one human tragedy and another and between one [person's] blood and another," the faction said in a statement.
Earlier, Olmert reached a funding agreement with concentration camp survivors, but not yet with those who fled during the war.
Israel Beiteinu called on Olmert to come to an agreement with the second group post-haste, vowing to use all its power to do so itself if a solution were not found.
