Israeli-Palestinian civil administration restored

The civil administration coordinating between Israel and the Palestinians has been restored in the West Bank, it was reported on Thursday. Israel Radio reported that from now on, Palestinians would submit their requests to Palestinian offices in their districts and the requests would then be passed on to the respective offices in Israel. Nevertheless, defense officials told Israel Radio that communication had not been restored with cities under Hamas rule. The work of regional assemblies in Judea and Samaria dealing with more complex issues in the West Bank is also set to be restarted. Israel Radio reported that, in addition, security cooperation between Israel and the Palestinian Authority had been upgraded.
