The Jerusalem Foundation was honored Monday by Spanish King Juan Carlos for its contributions towards creating a free and pluralistic city.
The prestigious Royal Toledo Foundation Award was
bestowed on the non-profit philanthropic organization for promoting coexistence in the mixed city.
The Jerusalem Foundation has raised over NIS 5 billion towards more than 2,000 city projects since its foundation four decades ago by the late Jerusalem mayor Teddy Kollek.
