Jewish Agency provides financial help to Kassam victims

The Jewish Agency for Israel announced Sunday that it was providing immediate financial assistance to victims of Kassam rocket attacks in Sderot. The agency's Victims of Terror Fund last month decided to earmark $300,000 for emergency assistance to Sderot residents, with the goal of providing initial relief to victims of Kassam attacks, in advance of assistance provided by the government. The agency said it had awarded nearly $17,000 in grants to families affected by Kassam attacks in the past week.
