Three Kassam rockets fired from northern Gaza landed in Sderot early Saturday, disrupting the tranquil Shabbat atmosphere. One of the rockets landed in a haredi neighborhood in the city, setting fire to five cars.
One woman suffered from shock and was treated by Magen David Adom paramedics.
A witness at the scene said firefighters, who eventually managed to control the fires, were slow to arrive at the scene.
Authorities said that reparations for the damage to property would be handled when Shabbat ends on Saturday evening.
Elsewhere on Saturday, a Kassam rocket landed near a western Negev kibbutz. No one was wounded but damage was reported to property.
