The Knesset's Education Committee met Monday to discuss a series of recent surveys which point to discrimination against Arab students.
The MKs decided that several of the most worrying statistics pointed to a widespread prejudice that began among Jewish grade school students.
MK Muhammad Barakei (Hadash) said that he would ask the Education Ministry to initiate a proposal for a program to target discrimination.
