The Tel Aviv District Court sentenced a 28-year-old man to three years in prison after he confessed and was convicted of sexual assaulting his cousin seven years ago.
The victim was nine years old at the time, and had to be hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital after the attacks, Israel Radio reported.
The prosecution agreed to the plea bargain due to the difficulty in getting the victim to testify.
The accused was also ordered to compensate his victim to the amount of NIS 10,000.
