The police navy patrol were holding an assessment meeting Wednesday morning regarding a missing 16-year-old boy who disappeared at sea Tuesday night off the Bogroshov beach in Tel Aviv.
Helicopters and police had scanned the area throughout the night but to no avail.
The boy's friends had reported him missing and called a rescue team. He was believed to have been swept off by the tide southwards.
