Over one hundred thousand people visited Israel's nature reserves, national parks and Jewish National Fund (JNF) forests on Tuesday.
The North's main sites, however, were relatively empty of visitors, which according to the JNF, was caused by poor weather and muddy walking conditions.
Sites which received the highest numbers of visitors included Massada, Ein Gedi, Caesarea and the Carmel mountains.
