One man was killed and seven others injured in a frontal collision between two vehicles at the Silver Junction on Road 4 on Saturday.
The apparent cause of the collision was the failure of one of the two vehicles to stop at a red light at the busy intersection.
The deceased was identified as 68-year-old Eli Kirchevsky. The seven injured were all taken in good condition to Ashkelon's Barzilai Hospital.
