MK Zevulun Orlev (NU-NRP) attacked on Saturday evening Education Minister Yuli Tamir for "desecrating Shabbat" by meeting with representatives of the student unions.
"An education minister who desecrates Shabbat egregiously while performing her job isn't worthy of serving in the government of a Jewish state," Orlev said.
Orlev added that his faction would consider bringing a no-confidence motion on the subject.
