Security guards at the Tarkumiya checkpoint, south of Hebron, shot and injured a Palestinian man who was trying to pass through the checkpoint and did not comply with their calls that he stop.
The security guards shot at the man's lower body, and he was moderately wounded.
Channel 10 reported that after an initial investigation proved that the man was not armed and was not on his way to carry out a terror attack, he was evacuated by ambulance to hospital in Hebron.
Security forces launched an investigation into the incident.
