Vice Premier Shimon Peres responded on Sunday to the execution of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, calling him a threat to life in the Middle East and the rest of the world, Israel Radio reported.
Speaking at the weekly cabinet meeting, Peres said Saddam had invited his own death.
He added that "historic justice has been done, and justice for history."
