Peres to embark on trip to Italy Wednesday; will meet pope

President Shimon Peres will embark on Wednesday on a 5-day trip to Italy, Army Radio reported.
Peres will meet with Italy's president and prime minister, as well as the pope. Amongst other issues Peres is expected to discuss the Iranian nuclear threat and kidnapped Israeli soldiers.
