The Supreme Court accepted the state's appeal and ruled that the Perinian brothers, Sharon and Oded, will remain in jail until the end of proceedings against them.
The Tel Aviv District Court had decided to put the two under house arrest instead of prison on account of the scant evidence available.
Their trial was suspended and will resume only after the committee investigating the conduct of the police and the persecution in the case completes its task.
