Police chief to 'Post': We're bracing for escalation in rocket attacks
By YAAKOV LAPPIN
In the shadow of reports of an imminent IDF ground invasion of Gaza, the Israel Police is bracing for a possible escalation in rocket attacks on the South, Police Commissioner Insp.-Gen. Dudi Cohen told the Jerusalem Post on Monday.
"The police are ready for this... we will deploy our forces differently in the event of an escalation," Cohen said.
More reinforcements could be sent to the South, and police would intensify support for emergency crews responding to rocket attacks, Cohen added.
