Remand extended for credit card fraud gang bosses

The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court extended the remands on Thursday of a Bulgarian and a German citizen who are suspected of heading a criminal network that allegedly stole millions of shekels by replicating credit cards using sophisticated copying apparatus. The suspects were arrested in Tel Aviv at the beginning of the week and police seized their state-of-the-art equipment. Police claimed that the two were the brains behind the operation, and feared that if they were released on bail they would flee the country.
