Britain's Sunday Times reported Sunday that new defense minister Ehud Barak was planning an extensive Gaza offensive that would swiftly destroy Hamas's capabilities.
The report quoted senior sources to the effect that it was only a matter of time. "The question is not if but how and when," the sources said.
