In rocket barrages on northern Israel on Saturday afternoon, two Katyushas landed in a Galilee community, causing damage but wounding no one. Other rockets landed in open territory. No wounded or damage was reported. Earlier, two rockets landed harmlessly in Safed. Deputy Commander of the Northern Command, Brig.-Gen. Alon Friedman, said on Saturday that the missiles fired at Afula on Friday by Hizbullah were not Iranian Fajr-5s, as originally reported, but an older Syrian-made model. Police reported Saturday that sappers have located remnants from 1646 rockets since the outbreak of violence in the North, but that the actual number of rockets fired was much higher, Israel Radio reported.
