A woman was seriously injured and five other people moderately injured late Friday evening in a three-car collision in Beersheba.
Police reported that one of the drivers involved in the accident was newly-licensed, and may have been under the influence of alcohol. He fled the scene immediately after the crash, but was later apprehended and brought in for questioning.
All the injured were evacuated to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.
