Deputy Defense Minister Ephraim Sneh said on Sunday that a a day would come when Israel would have to consider whether or not to free the jailed
Palestinian leader Marwan Barghouti, who is serving five life sentences for orchestrating three terrorist attacks in which five Israelis were killed.
In spite of this history, Sneh said that Israel would have to resolve the legal issues baring Barghouti's release because he is the most popular Palestinian leader.
