The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court ruled on Wednesday afternoon to send former justice minister Haim Ramon, who was convicted of sexually-related offenses, before a parole board, as per Ramon's attorney's request.
The board will decide whether to cancel Ramon's conviction or let it stand. The judges decided to grant the request despite the state's opposition.
