UN: Israel, Lebanon responsible for border fight

A UN report has determined that both Israel and Lebanon were responsible for the confrontation that broke out on the northern border last week, Israel Radio reported Tuesday night. The incident occurred when IDF troops searching for Hizbullah bombs inside Israel, although past the northern border security fence, came under fire from nearby Lebanese army troops. In response, an IDF tank fired two shells at an LAF position. Yaakov Katz contributed to this report.
