MK Shelly Yacimovich (Labor) petitioned the state attorney on Tuesday, to rule that the prime minister cannot hold the Justice portfolio because of the three investigations currently underway against him.
Yahimovich claimed that it was not proper for Olmert to be responsible for the State Attorney's Office, which is expected to make decisions which have far-reaching consequences, Israel Radio reported.
