Two youths from Moshav Gilat in the Negev were arrested Friday evening on suspicion that they intended to steal electrical wires.
The two received electric shocks when they allegedly attempted to climb an electric pole, and police reported that they were in possession of wire cutters.
The youths were moderately injured and evacuated to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba for medical treatment.
